Child & Youth Mental Health Counsellor
North Island Community Services Society is accepting applications for a permanent part-time Child & Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Counsellor, located in Port McNeill. This position provides support services and counselling for youth and at-risk youth with specific life challenges. The duration and depth of service is case specified.
This rewarding position works closely with the individuals, families, schools, Mental Health, and the Ministry to provide support, intervention, education and other services to children and youth groups and individuals.
28 hours a week,days and times can be flexible. Wage is $32.55- 34.55 depending on education and experience, plus a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Counselling or applicable field. Must have own vehicle and clear driver’s abstract. Clear Ministry of Justice criminal records check and current Level One First Aid certificate.
